August 2024 Update: 

OSD School Board Meeting 8/22/24 @6:30pm - agenda:

- updates to the 6000 policy series

- update on school enrollment ahead of the start of the school year 

- consent agenda to schedule discussion of 'District Health' and 'Trigger Metrics' for school closure

 OSD4ALL gathering August 24th, 2-5pm

at Three Magnets, 600 Franklin St SE

"Give your feedback on the mission of OSD4ALL & learn more about

the programs in our district. There will be:

- District Information - Family-friendly Activities & Live Music - Food & Drinks - Free Supplies"

April Update: OSD School Board Work Session added 4/18/24

The School Board is expected to indicate their directive on whether to include school closures in the budget for 2024-25.

**Public comments accepted through 4/17**

Scheduled for 6 - 8pm, session will be livestreamed & open to the public

**OSD4ALL "We Love ALL Schools" Rally 4/25 @ 4:30-6:30pm**

outside the Knox Building,  

OSD4ALL celebration for Madison & McKenney Friday 4/26

regardless of 4/25 meeting outcome

OSD4ALL will provide breakfast for staff & goodie bags for students at both schools

Update 3/7/24: a Thurston County Judge ruled in favor of a legal appeal against OSD and that the process to close schools must halt.

Pioneer families are encouraged to remain engaged and provide feedback regarding how the School Board will address the remaining budget deficit.
